Nutrition diet is important for good health. In our busy schedule today we hardly get time to exercise or burn or calories as a result we end up following different diet plans or start starving. It can be dangerous to health in future. We always try to read different articles about different celebrities just to know their fitness secret, whereas it is as open secret that is just by altering few nutrients in your diet on a daily base and balancing them properly may do wonders to your health. Yes! It is cost effective, time saving and practically easier to follow. Food you eat reflects on your body and soul. Nutrition is the vital part of diet that we consume. Fresh fruits and vegetables are a part of healthy diet however appropriate nutrition is also extremely important.
We live in an era that can be termed as BUSY era where we rarely get time to take care of our health and nutrition as a result people suffer from weakness and fatigue. Components like carbohydrates, proteins, fats, fiber, vitamins and minerals are called nutrients. These components should be a part of nutrition diet. Nutrients are substances used by the body to as fuel. It is used by our body to carry out functions like growth, repair, maintenance and energy for the body. There are different types of food stuffs providing different nutrients to our body in order to maintain good health. The three major nutrients that our body requires the most are Carbohydrates, proteins and fats.
Carbohydrates: carbohydrates are of two types simplex and complex. Simple carbohydrate can also be termed as sweet carbohydrate. White sugar found in your kitchen is the form of simple carbohydrate. Everyone likes to have sweets; it comes in various forms like chocolates, fruits, milk etc. Changing the lifestyle by eating healthy food would make you choose a sweet fruit over artificial sugar.
Few example of food stuffs containing simple carbohydrates are candy, cake, fruit juice, white sugar etc. Complex carbohydrates are high in fiber and are good for health if taken in adequate proportions. Each cell in our body takes energy from these carbohydrates. Complex carbohydrates are found in food with high nutrient value. It is more satisfying and less fattening as compared to simple carbohydrates. Few examples of food stuffs containing complex carbohydrates are spinach, cabbage, onions, whole wheat bread etc.
Please don’t treat carbohydrates as your enemy. It is an important component of your nutrition diet!
Proteins: Protein is another important component of our body. It maintains and takes care of the tissues in your body. Our muscles and immune system are made of proteins. Proteins are made of amino acids. There are different types of proteins. Everyday we need around 60 grams of proteins. Proteins can be gained from food stuffs like meat, eggs, milk products etc. Protein is a good source of energy if taken into adequate amount.
Fat: Fat is also a kind of nutrient. It is also an important component of our daily diet. Fat is rich in calories, it provides twice the calories as compared to proteins and carbohydrates. Fats are not always bad for our body. Proper intake of fats enhances the concentration span apart from that it also increases the vision and gives you healthy skin.
Hence none of the above nutrients should be eliminated from our daily nutrition diet. Everything available in nature’s basket has its own significance the only thing that has to be done is to balance it either by eating healthy it proportionately or by burning it that is exercising regularly.
